Be not afraid

When you’re in Sales or Procurement, the FEAR of not achieving your KPIs can sometimes immobilise you. Doing nothing is not the solution to regaining your confidence.

Consider the story of a man who lost his keys in his home. As soon as he realised it, he got down on his knees and started looking. A voice called out to him, “Where did you last see your keys?” He answered, “In the other room.” The voice asked, “Why then, do you look for it here?” He replied: “Because it is brighter here.”

The lesson is, where you lose something is exactly where you will find it again.

While executing your task to generate revenue or extract savings, you may have encountered situations that have made you lose confidence in your own skills and abilities. You must engage these very same situations in order to overcome them. Be Not Afraid.
